Time Card Calculator
Enter daily shifts and breaks to total a weekly or biweekly time card instantly.
Calculate each shift from its clock-in and clock-out times, subtract its unpaid breaks, then add the net shift durations. Daily totals roll into weekly totals and, for a 14-day period, two weekly subtotals combine into the biweekly total.

How do you calculate a time card?
Calculate each shift from its clock-in and clock-out times, subtract its unpaid breaks, then add the net shift durations. Daily totals roll into weekly totals and, for a 14-day period, two weekly subtotals combine into the biweekly total.
Daily totals roll into seven-day week totals and, when selected, a fourteen-day period total.
Add the net duration of every shift after subtracting its breaks.
Worked example
Five 09:00 to 17:00 shifts with no breaks total 40 hours for the week.
Important cases
- Overnight shifts cross midnight automatically.
- Empty days count as zero hours.
- Overtime and pay are optional configurable estimates.
Common questions
Can a day contain more than one shift?
Yes. Add shifts within any day and each net duration is included in that day’s total.
